probably already been answered aload of times, my old disco came with button start. it had a rocker switch which was wired inbetween the battery and fuel stop solenoid and a push button between the battery and starter remote. still needed the key to unlock the steering and use all other eletrics. downside of doing that way was that you could still start the car without keys

Feed to starter relay for push button start should be an ignition feed not a permanent one

As its to do with the ignition wiring and how to start the car - i thought it might be an idea to keep it private???
Just fit a second original switch to one of the dash blanks (use a latching switch as starter cut out) EG spot lights
cheaper and more effective than any alarm.........(leaving transfer box in neutral is always a good one too!)
