Hi folks, I have been bought a 'spensive dashcam with front & rear cameras for Xmas/Birthday.
Anyone know how easy/hard it is to get a cable routed through the headlining space from front to rear or vice-versa?
I am sure I can get a live-wire through the bulkhead OK and up the A-Pillar for power to it at the windscreen end.

Anyone else fitted a dashcam on a P38?

I had a dash cam on mine, I just ran the power from the cig lighter. If your car has an auto dipping interior mirror, you might be able to power the dash cam from that.

Remove pillar trims on one side, and tuck the wires behind the headlining. Routing the wires through the tailgate upper or lower depends where you're mounting the camera. If the camera has long wires attached, you might need to start at the back & run them forward

I have one like this mounted through the number plate light housing. Gives a good view behind as well as the bumper.

Surely that's a reversing cam not a dash cam?

Why run through headlining space?
I would run it under the carpet to the back then bring it up the rear posts.
