How bad is the 2.5TD engine???
Mine has got 149,000 on the clock and other than a new turbo at 43,000 back in '93, it has not been rebuilt. It has been reasonably well looked after and has not ever probably gone over 50mph (no motorways in rural lincolnshire!!!!)
Is it abnormal in having not died at 60,000 miles with a cracked block, busted head, broken piston etc, etc, etc....
Or is the engine not really that bad?
