Hi. . .Good tip from zog, in extreme hot weather like wot we got,put ya thunders in freezer for half hour, then stick em on, , ,ah so cool, lasts for bout 20mins, health and safety warning,on zog we take personal hygiene very seriously,so make sure yer thunders are clean if ya got food in ya freezer[i always change ma thunders after three skidders] hope this helps ,best oh luck. . .

In these extream hot conditions never leave ya dog/pets in ya motor even for a min , i left Mrs MING in the motor fer ten mins yesterday and when i got back she was mad und moody[got a good whippin last night]. . .:D

In these extreme hot conditions DON'T leave chocolate bars on the dash board. They'll be hard to eat and you're likely to get it all over the seats.

Important notice to all readers:

Please replace "backdoor" by "tailgate", thanks.

Hi all,
Think this deserves a place in this hot weather tips item as I like to drive with the backdoorwindow down all the way and the driver's window down as well, if the trip is not too far no need to even put the A/C (which is poor anyway) on, so read the below and take your advantage of it if it wasn't known (which it wasn't by me and I drive mine since jan 9th 2001):D :D

Don't know whether the following is generally known but in all the
threads I've read on the different forums it was, as far as I'm concerned,
never mentioned, thus thought to give it a go.
It's about the backdoor's (3rd or 5th door) window, by accident I found
out this one also works the same as the driver's door with the "tip touch"
command, I used to keep my finger on the knob until the window was completely
down but today my finger slipped off the knob, just touched it a fraction
and I saw lower the window completely, so I brought it up again and did
test it properly by briefly touching the knob and down completely it went
again, then I did as before and kept the knob pressed until a certain point
and as soon as the knob released the window stops. Thought this might be
handy to know, sorry if this was all known already and that I took some of
your time. Ciao.

Erm! Nope, I didnt know either,
Just off to try it now.

You dont have a photo do yer Willo? :D :D :D

I knew I'm right on this, I tried it a couple of times as I didn't want to risk any mistake with the lot overhere ....:p
When you try to bring it up from full down to halfway up for example it won't accept, it then goes down completely again, which is normal. There it differs from the driver's door.

And a photo of what/who mondo, of my tailgate ??

Could you do one with the window UP,:p
Just so we know you wernt lieing:D :D

As requested, but unfortunately I washed the rear window this afternoon and it's so clean the reflection is that strong that the camera got all mixed up with the below picture as result. If you really want one with the window up you'll have to wait for another month or two to have it become dirty enough again not to fool the camera...;) :D :D :D
(By the way, I'm off now, I need my beautysleep you see).

Here what it should look like willo

I have a tip for us tractor drivers, but it could I suppose go for any vehicle.

Any old how if you are driving with your windows down, and your wading plugs are on the top of the dash they can and did roll along the dash and exit the vehicle via the open window, it's not easy pretending they have nothing to do with you when they land on the bonnet of the car traveling alongside you!

Here's my top tip that I have found out to be a flukey summer treat.
When buying a new leather interior for ya hippo - always go for a 3 door interior as opposed to the 5 door variety regardless of the number of doors you actually have. When leaving the vehicle for prolonged periods in the sun simply flip the drivers seat forward and when you return - viola! No burned botty!!
