Where is your battery located? My 110 has a 2nd petrol tank fitted under the passenger seat where the battery used to sit. The tank is from a SIII 88" and has a simple electric transfer pump to transfer petrol across to the tank under the drivers seat. The battery has been moved to the engine compartment.

My batterys in the same. Would be interested in seeing pics as that would be a nice neat solution. Not sure it would be all that big a tank though but anything is an improvement on the current tank.

The td5 option is a good one but i just dont have the knowhow to make the tank fit securely. I saw a build thread on here about it and its a lot more work than ive got the experience for to be honest.

I know a couple have said whats wrong with jerry cans but its just a pain, plus if i can fit an aux tank somewhere then i can carry more fuel and it wont be as cumbersome as carrying an equivalent number of jerry cans. For instance i have two cans on at the moment, one 20 litre and one 5 litre, and these are squeezed away where i have room seeing as its quite cramped in the back of my 90.

The rear of the bulkhead however is only taken up by the dog bed so this could be utilised as could the battery compartment in the seatbox if i could relocate the battery.

And finally the bling and resale factor also has to be taken into account ;)

Is there a law about how much extra fuel you can carry? I think it's illegal to have more than 30L stored at home but don't know about a car.
