Yes, you've been warned. But its not about size 'whats the biggest tyre' blah blah. I am interested in finding out from those people who have actually run this tyre - the Cooper Discoverer STT. What I want to know is what do you think of it? I did have a good google search and there was a few reviews of the tyre but they varied so much and it was difficult to get a good idea weather its a good tyre or not. What I really want to know is how noisy is it on the road? Thanks, please dont crucify me, it's an honest question :D

Love them - had them on my D1 then moved them across to my Series when the D1 rotted away.

They perform very well - they are also becoming the favourite for a lot of overlanders as they have very good side wall strength (something a lot of cheap tyres lack)

I'm sure some people will come on saying there are better ones about, but, you'll always get people who don't like things, but, generally i think they're good tyres.

There brilliant, wholly recommended.

Ive had them on my defender for 3 years and 10000 miles ,they have hardly changed shape.

I just did 200 odd miles each way to torquay and did greenlaning while i was there and they were tops on the motorway.

Sound good then. I didnt really want extreme off road mud tyres cos they're ****e in anything other than mud. What are the STT's like in the wet and on snow / ice compared to say an AT? really dont want mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm noise on the road :p got enough with the 200tdi vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :D

Must admit I have 265/75/16 bf Goodrich km2 on my defender and I am not getting the use of them
I may sell them with the free style alloys but not sure what to put on the car instead
Bf Goodrich at or stt

are they graphite freestyle alloys???

You want the cooper ST not the STT for the all terrains. STT are the mud terrain.

apparenlty BFG KM2's are ****e in the wet and ice

Ive got both KM2's and STT's. not used the KM2's in the snow yet.

There both an excellent MT tyre. i wouldn't choose any other MT tyre personally.

Any mud tyre is not ideal in the snow, AT's are much better suited so im led to believe.

i had 2 coopers fitted on the rear of my disco2 when i bought it, i cant fault them at all, i found i didnt get any noise from them what so ever.

they also lasted very well, i got around 50k out of them
