why? and by on your own do you mean with out the girlfriend or without a back up car?
Depends whther the girlfriend is man enough to pull yer disco out of a mud trap!
Wow! stuck for 29 hours is that a record? see what you mean though not good to be stuck for any amount of time, and a doubt the RAC AA will recover me for anywhere off a tarmac road?
Pull a Disco out probly not - pull an arm off and beat you to death with it oh yeah! Specially at that time of the month
Problem being you might not know how bad it is till you gat stuck right? specially not if like me you happen to be a newbieIf ther lane is so bad you get that stuck... you probably shouldn't be driving it anyway according to Glass Guidelines.

Fook me, some of it has sunk inThat's why you're supposed to walk it first. As you drive the lane though, take a note of any possible places to turn around. When the terrain changes get out and walk it, you can assess how bad the conditions are before you drive the next section. If it is really bad then avoid it, retreat to the last turn point and go back to the beginning of the lane. That's the official advice of Glass anyway. Remember that your mate on front or behind you will be no use whatever if he gets stuck too!!
