Hmmm interesting concept?

Thing is, production for some reason stops, even though demand is there (sometimes nostalgic demand) so some other country thinks, " hey heres an opening" and buys the tooling and then carries on ...my point is its nuts!
VW campers can be bought as new from many suppliers,,,at crazy prices! it will be the same for the Defender, providing they get it right, and because it wont be from an EU country no one will give a flying f*** that if 1 million defenders ran at the same time for 10000 years, 0.00001microns of ice could possibly disappear from the poles...

well, the last 99 type 2`s were over here heading for devon conversions,
there will be no more.................
unless someone somewhere buys up the ex VW tooling in brazil.

fenders on the other hand, will be made by some tiny company on a refurb basis I recon..
give them a fubared fender - get "new" in return,

or not...
