hi,

just joined looking for some expert advice before purchasing a land rover, looking at 2004 2.5 v6 freelander sport auto 2004 model.

read some reviews about head gaskets going, was this a fault early on and resolved in 04 models?

any help/advie before i purchase would be great.

hi thanks for the response. is the freelander not that good?

went to see it today, looked gorgeous and drove good but concerned about some bad reviews re the engine.

why would you not rec?

dont touch it, unless you have very deep pockets and have a propensity for walking

theres nothing wrong with the diesels if you deffo want a freelander

hi thanks so much for the responses.

been raking the net on this one. cant really see diesel up here in scotland that looks the way this one does.

as it is an 04 plate and looking on net about the revised freelander from the original with the more range rover like lamps do you guys think it will be ok?

i currently have a merc and cant fault it but the misses loves this freelander
