Hi all,
New to this forum but wanted to see if anybody could tell me if I've made a screw up please?
On my Freelander 2 ('10) The tailgate/fuel flap fuse under the glove box had blown so it wouldn't lock as it thought the tailgate was stuck open. As a quick fix I pulled out the Safety and Restraint (SRS) fuse from the same panel so I could lock the car, intending to replace both the next day and fix the tailgate issue
(As it turns out, it was the fuel flap that had gone but was on the same relay). Now though, the immobiliser has kicked in and I can't start the Freelander - is this because of me pulling out the SRS fuse and is there anyway I can reset this without having it dragged to Land Rover garage which is what the AA Man suggested? Or have I dropped a clanger here?! Thanks!

Turns out the mech who repaired the fuel flap issue put the SRS fuse back in the wrong slot (F5 blank instead of F2 SRS if I remember right?). I put it back where it should have been and all fixed, so my fault for tinkering in the first place (it was never actually in crash mode) but also slap on the wrist for the mech for a rookie error and then charging me to plug his laptop in and try and fix it!
