Hi, thanks. I've always loved Landrovers, I'm a bit of an anaracj truth be known.. I've had 8 Range Rover classics over the years, a few defenders and now a discover ( my first one). I do a lot of overland, I like the comfort of the disco. I've done quite a few mods on this one... removed rear windows and replaced with hatches, three batteries, hot shower!! LolWelcome aboard We're big fans of D1 300's - we have two of them.
Like the pictures, thanks for sharing
Mentioning yourself, Land Rovers and hot showers on ere may be a bit of a mistakeHi, thanks. I've always loved Landrovers, I'm a bit of an anaracj truth be known.. Hi, I know the feeling, time and money is all I seem to do.. but it's a labour of love.. I made the hatches myself.. gives great access to side lockers.. I'm really pleased with them...when are you hoping to do your trip? What have you done to yours??Hello great pic , Love the hatches , who made them ? , I'm going down the expedition route myself , hoping to take the disco across India when done , and end up in Sri Lanka , well that's the plan, but at the moment I'm spending a bit over budget on bolt on goodies lol.
I was hoping to go overland India October this year, but like you I want everything prepared. I agree on the tyres.. I have a howling moon roof tent on mine, 2 jerrys and a front runner water.. as well as hi-lift, shovels etc.. trying to put everything else inside, help with the weight (keep it as low as poss) may have to juggle a few things around..?Not had it long , but spent a few bob on the engine , mainly preventive maintenance , got a large rack , spots and ladder on , plus snorkel and light guards, just getting the under body protection sorted now , then it's some water and spare fuel carriers , think I'll carry 2 spare tyres aswell .
Was hoping to go this year , but may be a trip next year , as I really want to go fully prepped, and with some spending money lol
