awesome. as much as i'm not VX qualified there's not much I don't know about my old cav and astra both have had engine, suspension, exhaust, body, interior changes but my cav seems to throw a fit with new parts or if I don't pay her enough attention. the latest one is her deciding that cos she hasn't been out in a week or two that when coming to a stop in tesco carpark she would slip the clutch adjuster so I now have no clutch control. now I have sorted that she has decided her battery needs charging and even with a jump she will not fire yet she turns over fine.
need to get her running again and take her to work a few times so she doesn't feel left out.
to be fair anything that has gone wrong while out has always allowed me to drive home. it's only completely failed when at home

will probably be one or the other for me as I am now spending most of my earnings on fuel to earn :( but I'm happier in my new job so I don't mind it too much just hoping the wage improves soon to allow the playing

Me too, fuel is a killer atm. Keep me posted about lanes at the weekend though mate.

yeah 2" spring lift on standard 235/70r16 road tyres I do have some 7.50r16 tyres but they catch when it articulates so untill I do the body lift or camel cut they are staying off so I don't destroy them or the D1

Oh right cool, really need to lift mine. Just fitted bigger profile tyres to give it a little lift but still not enough yet.

well if you need a hand to do the lift I may be able to help one weekend if need be
I'll get a pic of my how it stands tomorrow

Cheers bud, i just need to order a lift kit (spacers) as soon as i can afford it. Freelanders look very limited to mods.

A fellow Cambridge based Freelander owner here in Shelford :) Welcome to the site... I'm about to post my "introduce yourself" post now.

Well I haven't opened it to be honest. But its just a set of spacers that go on top the shocks as well as extended braided brake hoses. I really want to get it fitted! But it means I need to give up a sunday on the lanes. (Wrong priorities I know lol)
