Hi all. New to the forum. Just saying hello
Thanx for the kind welcome (from most people). Went out for a couple of hours today searching for lanes by myself. Strayed up a few private drives by mistake but found a few. Good feeling indeed.
Respect your being alone comments but no need for concern. All lanes were flat, no drop offs to side, had plenty buildings around and at worst I could have broken down and have an hours walk home. Plenty of phone signal too.

You might want to read this http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/ooops-lost-me-landy-238692.html
I hadn't been drinking heavy lol. Trust me, I'm a noob not a nob I was in more danger on the roads than the lanes.

haha. Over confidence, I'm sure no one will remind you of that when it goes wrong.
Welcome to the forum but you kind of are going about it all the wrong way.
Being a self confessed noob, have you read the stickies at the top of the section?
Thanx for the welcome but you may have got the wrong end of the stick. I'm new to greenlaning, not driving, having common sense and grey matter between the ears and life in general. Read my posts a bit more before commenting. I was on flat earth not half way up a mountain. Biggest threat to me was being savaged by an irate sheep where as en route I was subjected to dueling with 40ft lorries, teenagers in hot hatches, blind sunday driver pensioners pulling out on me and oncoming traffic of a combined speed of over 100mph. Give me those lanes from hell all day long
