Do you mean it is a WA1245... Chassis number or what does this stand for? Don't forget that number plates don't mean anything outside the particular country. For example my Disco 2's number plate corresponds to 1996 but it isn't.

Doesn’t anyway. Manufacturer Year (MY) is what you wanna know. The vehicle could have been standing on a forecourt for years, is then given a 1st registration plate on that year plate.
