Hey all,

Im new here,

im 18 and myself and my dad have decided its time to stop saying were going to do the land rover up and actually start restoring it.

It used to be used everyday and has been stood since it was last in use.

Now the plan is for me to use it to save me money than running my current money pit, and bring it to somewhat presentable condition that can get used as and when needed, as its obviouslt tax free and cheap to insure it will always be ready for action when required.

Ill get some pictures up of it and start a resto diary :) at the moment its been left with the front partly stripped. With the engine out as it was going to have a 2.0ltr TD conversion but it might be going onto a 2.5 petrol, yet to decide so views would be a help.

I dont have much of a clue about land rovers so im going to start learning. Looking forward to driving it, should be fun :)

cheers for the welcome, at the moment im running a v6 capri. Damn good fun in a totally different way to the landy :)

Ill be building a v8 capri next, although i have the chance of a mg midget so i might v6 that.

Ill get a piccy of the landy in the "series" chat
