Just out of interest, how much diesel do you usually burn on an trip??

Just pullin yer leg - we only take bumpers off when absolutely necessary, depends how stuck you get:eek: Seriously, if you want to join in, you're welcome.

Can't say how much diesel gets used, I run a 3.9 V8 RRC so I'll be the one permanenetly looking for a petrol station:rolleyes:

But really it depends on how long we're out. The longest day out I've done was a round trip of about 185 miles and I did about 3/4 of a tank. I would think you'll do a bit over 1/4 tank maybe half depending on how heavy your foot is, but sensibly plan to do a whole tank, that way you'll be pleasantly surprised if you still have fuel at the end:p - Works for me!

Kev I'm not wanting to be a party pooper but! we are going to have to watch numbers as only 30 pitches on camp site and 10 allready taken up by another group.

I should think that the number of pitches is based on people not being in one group, so that people have a bit of space. Seeing as we're a friendly lot, I'm sure we could squeeze up a bit. Can't see the bloke turning money away.

Can't see a Td5 using stupid amounts of Diesel.

for campsite details, that's assuming you want to come both days and stay over. If you just want to do 1 day, that's cool too.
 
Ok cool thanks, i will have to have a look to see if im working, but i can always sleep in my car if necessary. Not sure how many days i would be able to do, but only live in southampton so its not very far away anyway.

I'm usually at the front of the "definitely getting stuck" queue, but there's a frontera that I am hoping will do so before me!

There will be 2 frontera's, Dan that was out on the lanes with me last saturday is well up for Salisbury, he's got a good set of tyres so should be able to pull the other one out, in team Frotera. got his pitch sorted out already. Looks like he will be joining up with us on the Friday Chris.
