I have been able to pick up 2 of the 3 hens teeth for a 3 door landrover. Took 4 years since I started. Have a nice new shower cover and got a canvas roof. Looking the last of the trifecta. The rear boot cover/load cover. Search the Internet and keep coming across Web sites advertising them for little money, but international. And the same pic appears in several web sites.

Anyone tried picking one up internationally?? Easy or hard?.

They don't seem to exist locally

What about the sun blinds that go on the two glass parts on the 3 door
Have you got that ? I have never seen one fitted

I saw a 50th anniversary 3 door advertised on a car yard a few years ago. I went over and looked at it and it had all those things including the cubby box between rear seats.

The guy said he was sending it to the mechanics because it had suspected hgf and he'd call me when it was back. He didn't and when I called it was sold.

Saw it advertised much later on fb marketplace with clutch problems and messaged thhe seller. Once again I didn't hear back and when I messaged again later he said he'd sold it. I wouldn't mind betting it was scrapped. :(

Make sure whoever you buy from supplies the two brackets as well, as these seem even rarer. Many sellers seem unaware that the mounting points are not standard in the vehicle.

Yes, the normal clips in the vehicle are no good, they are just there to tie/attach things to. When the shelf is used they need to be swapped out for the larger (but still quite flimsy) brackets, that have the metal receiver clip in them. It wouldn't be too difficult to make something that does the job, but that's not the same as having LR's fragile ill-matching black plastic there instead.

If it's a pre-facelift model, there's a fifth rarity to look out for... The magical dashboard cupholder, (and the rubber mat that attaches to it), where you press the button and watch it open up in its full glory. It's not so good with today's larger cups which seem a bit top heavy. It does the job though, and worth it to complete the top of the dash.
