Hi
I have a RR Series3 and recently I had a main dealer activate the speed sensitive locking. However, since I got it back there a two niggly issues:-

1. When I put it into reverse, it used to give off 1 beep (confirming that I have selected reverse gear) Now it doesn't.

2. I like to keep the display on RANGE that shows me how many miles left in the tank. Before they activated the speed sensitive locking every time I switched on the car, the display would show RANGE exactly as I left it. Now when I swicth on the car, the display is blank and I have to press the indicator stalk button 4-5 times to get to the RANGE display. What do I have to do to get it to stay on the setting that it was on before I turned the car off?

I hope you can help me.
Thanks

1. The beep is the parking sensor ecu telling you the pdc is switched on when you select reverse, as it doesn't beep then you have either a pdc fault (the light on the pdc switch should flash if theres a fault) or the dealer may not have configured it properly.

When you have certain functions turned off and on using the diagnostic computer (T4 as we call it), all the ECU's on the vehicle need to be re-configured to accept the personalisation settings, if this hasn't been done properly or T4 crashed half way through (it does sometimes!) then the ECU's wont be properly configured or the software in the affected ECU's can be corrupted.

2. as above.

Take it back to the dealer.
