Help! Where to next?....

I was going to put some pics up today but I ran out of light and i'm doing the job outside as I don't have a garage......

How do I get the injectors checked?

If its got that hot there's a good chance head is stuffed as well need to get it checked for cracks , warped etc . probably be cheaper in long run to get another engine

Ok so, I've sourced another block and the head has gone to the engineering guys to be cleaned up and pressure tested. fingers crossed!

I've got to swap all the ancillaries from the old engine on to the new one (diesel pump, oil pump etc...) then i'll need to hire an angine crane for the day to lift the old out and in with the new(er) block.

One thing that i'm not to sure about is the bellhousing bolts. Can I get everything off on the backend of the engine from under the bonnet? I'm doing the job on my drive you see.

Can anyone advise?

£156 for the head to be sorted. Still need to get the old block out. Not looking forward to that.....
