I think 2 yrs ago. We get through them due to location and lifestyle. Most journeys are under 20 miles each way. During lambing it's a killer, as farm is on 1.5miles away. So constant short hops.When was your last battery gold? Wow

Shame they cant incorporate a solar panel into the sunroof it would be a winner for rangie owners.

Yep, every vehicle has it's own solar panel when parkedOur Keith is one for that. Keeps his machines on the ready.
The Transit has one permanently installed in the rear window.

I need to drive her more. Would sort the problem. I love her, love driving her, but nowhere to go, and I'm likely to kill a tourist at this time of year, if I go for a jaunt.

Not true, even on an overcast day, a solar panel produces some power, it's just a matter of choosing the right size. I use 20 watt panels with a charge controller. On a heavily overcast day in winter, the still produce about 30/50ma which is enough to keep the P38's happy.Need some sun for that
