Help Please

I have recently bought a landrover discovery 3.9 v8i petrol/LPG conversion P registration.

My problem is my car decides when it will work or not. eg- it will work taking children to school but when i have droped them off i cant get home.

I have had the car in 3 garages and been told different stories

1 garage said it needed a service which we did that cost us arround 370 Pounds

the second garage said that there was a problem with the imobiliser so we got this changed which cost us arround 300 pounds

the 3rd garage said we needed a new battery which cost us 100 pounds and guess what

the car still wont start so can someone please help and give us any sugestions

Hi, when you say it won't start does it turn over but not fire?

yea turns over for ever but will not start !!!!!!

Is there a spark from coil? if so check spark plugs for sparks,if all is well with these then its a fuel problem.The coil could have had its day,they can overheat a few times giving you short journeys before totally dying.
