I have a Syncmate a Faultmate FCR and a Nonocom for the diesels and various other diagnostic units. But i cannot say if i can help you because i don't know where you are. Crystal ball is away for service.
Im up in the North East or you would've been my new best friend!!!!
Unless you fancy a drive over and I'll pay you
Finland, North East England, North East Kent, North East Scotland, Norway, Russia or Sweden???
Your Location would HELP????????
How deep are your pockets?????
I'm up near Thirks, North East England
Is Yorkshire no longer part of england? If so they beat Scotland to independanceThirsk, North East Yorkshire, maybe????
Diesel cranks but does not start, some V8's also crank but don't start, others dont crank, can never remember if it's Gems or Thor that don't crank. How is yours turning over as mine won't with 'engine disabled' displayed on the dash. The starter won't energise until the immobiliser is unlocked. I imagine, if you've had to use the key to unlock the door the EKA code is required to sync the system and get the immobiliser opened but why the starter is turning the engine is a mystery to me! What is being shown on the dot matrix warning display on the dash?
If the BECM code does not match the EDC code, you have to read and note the EDC code, then go to the BECM and write the code back, it is not an automatic process. The correct version of Syncmate will do that.my EDC code is not matching the EDC/motronic code. I cannot change the code as it's locked. Will a syncmate do this or do i need an unlocked Bemc?
