sorry to hear :(
Even though water is fun water dont like engines. unlike fuel water does not compress so as soon as you have sucked up a small bit of water into the cylander the piston cant compress the water so usually the first thing to go is the conrod. but more water can lead to nasty broken pistons sticking out your block hopefully only a tiny bit of water got in just enuff to stop ignition

It might look good for the camera driving into the water flat out, but It's a shame they weren't driven properly.

Have you got any vids of someone driving through it properly? Just wondering how deep it would look like with a bow wave.

u cant drive into it slow weve tried!!

u just sink in the silty sandy bottom and loose all traction, you have to rely on as much momentum as possible on entry or your fooked

if you wanna come down we would be more than happy to watch you drive into it "properly" how long would you like us to leave you there b4 we recover ya:D

also check out pic on page 1 you can see how deep it is

Me thinks you are confused.

If thats the case you might aswell just fit floats cos that's all you are doing there. You aint getting traction when yer flat out into the water like that and then spinning yer wheels like fook. You're floating. Traction is made by making your vehicle sink. That means making your vehicle displace more water. i.e. adding some weight.

What I think you're meaning to say is that YOU don't have the weight in yer vehicle to drive it correctly. NOT that it CANNOT be driven correctly.

I wouldn't take my TD5 in there. In fact I wouldn't take anything other than a £50 banger through that.

a td5 has been thru it and a pajero.

I'll give it a go!
But I will float and it looks deep but I think I have been as deep last year.
The disco's look like 2 or 3 inch lift with not huge tyres I'm game! where is it?

Asia rockstar Video:

Seems like typical idiots usually found around Pay and play sites with lifting strops attached to the front and rear of their vehicles just out to fook everything up and be twots. Lots of em up Whaddon too usually found replacing diffs/shafts mid morning or on the back of AA trucks claiming they havent been offroading.

yup and the amount of white smoke that came out the zort said to me that isnt going any quickly for a while

I still wouldn't take my TD5 through it. I work enough hours as it is. There's a difference between risking damage for nothing and risking damage for a reason. I carry approx 500ft of strops and cables between my truck and my landy just so I don't have to risk my vehicles when extracting others.
