Hi All
I have an ongoing issue with my recent purchase, RR 4.4 v8 HSE, 2002
It has a KME system with a 95 ltr tank. From cold, I can drive about 1-2 miles before the engine management light starts to flash and the car starts to judder, the light then goes solid (fault codes logged) it then seems to smooth out but with a general lack of power, maybe the ECU reverts to some "default" setting?
From chatting with various people it seems as if the automatic petrol to lpg changeover is happening before the water temperature gets high enough to heat the evaporator thus the LPG is being injected as a mist rather than a gas causing mixture issues and misfiring.
What could be the potential causes and fixes of this?
Ive also noticed a lower than average idle on gas with stalls could this be related?
