I do beekeeping as a sideline and that's why I bought the trooper then wanted something better. Most of my hives are in fields so it's not heavy off road

They will cross fiedls on normal tyres no problem unless the mud is very deep. Mine climbs through the mud uphill in my back field no problem on the Nexens, even the TC doesn't kick in.

I have tried off road but I got stuck. The fields at the moment are very wet and bogie. The tyres on there are road legal and have good tread but they they look like some kinda sports tyres

I had some goodridge on my trooper and they were great. Just before I got rid of it my friend took me off roading to abuse it a little before she went.

hi guys just an update
I visited a guy with a tool that plugged into my RR today to find the fault I have (alarm fault). the tool he was using could not get connection to the ECU what ever that is?
he said that the loom might be the old type? any iders?

so anyway I ordered the sensor unit on ebay and hope this will work as I don't know any were else to go who has a tool to help?

Your Rangie needs specialist diagnostics kit. Some of very best (expensive) generic stuff will do it but you're better off with something that has the specific software. I've got one but hopefully there will somebody closer.

We I know he had one last year. All he said that the later ones had a different loom in them that had all the extra bits for all the accessories

Bull****:) There are some differences between early and late cars, 4 wheel Traction control and side airbags for example but it makes no difference to diagnostic access.
