Can I refer you all back to post #14, thank you.
If you insist.
This would be better.
Perhaps you are under some stress, or perhaps you just enjoy being an angry person. I don't know, and if the truth were to be told, nor do I care.
I still feel sorry for you though. I think you will grow out of it.
Its not really better is it ?, still pretty basic stuff.
Anyway, I,m not the one who,s own words in this thread make me look like a plumb !.
So why did you get banned then ?. I honestly dont know.
Del.

1) it was not JM It was the MODs themselves.
I stand corrected.
2) Publishing a PM on the open forum is a banable offence and has been for years, as yu should know.
How could I possibly know that?
As far as I can see, there is no rule about it, so how could I know?
I have asked which rule but no-one is telling me.
Changed the fuel filter... I had no idea it got so very HOT..
In normal running, the fuel filter of all TD5s will get far too hot to hold on to.
The fuel gets VERY hot in the TD5 Injectors, so hot that it would not be safe to let it go back to the tank. So the fuel spilled from the injectors is mixed with the main flow passing through the gallery in the cylinder head. Then the very hot fuel coming back out of the cylinder head passes though a FUEL COOLER that uses the radiator return coolant to drop the fuel temperature to about 70°C, which is hot enough to cook meat.
This hot fuel is sent back to the fuel filter, and then it finds its way back into the fuel tank.
It is interesting to note that all this trouble took place, and NONE of diagnostic tools would have diagnosed it. They would have said there was no fault.
Yes Del, you are quite right.
I write professionally, and they like it to be correct.
But that's not to say I should be a smart-arse here, is it?
Banned - James Martin was behind that. He sent me an uninvited PM, which I thought (and still do) that everyone on LandyZone deserved to be able to read. It wasn't anything personal or secret, and actually I can't remember what it was, just drivel I suppose, and it has long since been deleted here. Anyway , I copied it and pasted it into a thread. JM went in the huff and ran off crying to the mods who decided to ban me for a week. They said it was against the rules, but I have asked to be told what rule. They cannot or will not tell me.
That was it Del.

personally, I think yu are trying to be banned again.
I have to disagree on that Charles. I rekon if you viewed live data on a diagnostic, the map reading would have shown as being low. It isn't always the case but if it was that covered in oil as the op says, I rekon it would've shown a low reading.
Well it certainly NEVER does on my TD5s (I have two) when they fail due to oil in looms, leaking injector washers, fuel pump failures, and so on. As far as I can discover, they don't monitor fuel pressure at all, and so they don't know when there isn't any!
As MHM says it was the Admin/Mods on that banned you and NOT Jamesmartin.
I never said JM banned me, did I?
It's also something we don't like doing and it makes it even harder when you like and/or get on with that person.
I ask all you Mods, once again, please show me where in the rules there is any mention of it being a capital offence to post a PM that someone who received one thinks everyone should see.
Once I have seen that and have been shown to be in error, the matter is over. I cannot for the life of me see why this has developed into such a big issue.
Perhaps because you keep bringing it up
DENIED. All I am asking is a simple question, that can be answered easily.
Be fair, you posted it,
ADMITTED. I certainly did that, deliberately, and for a good reason.
. . . was warned in posts to remove it and I presume by mods
DENIED. I do not recall any such warning.
. . . and all you banged on about is ''WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT......''
ADMITTED.
YES or NO, is there a rule that members can see, that says posting part or all of a PM is a capital offence? If someone in authority will answer that question, either YES or NO (and I don't care which) then that's it over. If the answer is "YES", simply show me the rule.
Can't we forget about it now
That would be fun.
Del and I were just beginning to understand each other.
I for one warned you because I didn't want to see you banned and I wasn't the only one, cant remember who else.....Daft I think.......anyway.....back to the fun
No kidding?
How would I UN-post an item?
That would be like UN-writing Bible (or the Koran if you're a Moslem)
Are you going to answer the question?
Did you see the posts about my 101 ?
"I need this idea out of my head"
A very kind gentleman is offering to take it off my hands if I drive it to his place. That's true friendship and generosity.
Now then, about "that question . . . " ?
I just want one or other of the Mods to give me a straight answer to that perfectly reasonable question.
There may begin to appear a reason for reluctance . . .
Thought it was about time i made a post about all the recent goings on with language etc. As i'm sure everyone is aware, especialy regulars, at Landyzone we have taken a different approach to bad language than other LR forums. Up until recently i think it's gone pretty well. Since we've had some new moderators things seem to have changed a little, whether that is just a coincidence or not i'm not sure. Either way there has only ever been one guide line, and that has been to keep harsh language off the main forums. (if anyone wishes to know what they are PM, don't use this as an excuse to use them). Something that you don't mind might easily offend others. My feeling now, is that people are beginning to take the **** a little to see how far they can push things. If this is the case i would advise said people to stop pushing because it needs to end. Once complaints start coming in we have to do something about it. So from here on in i ask that EVERYONE keep the harsh stuff from the main forums and keep it in anything goes. That goes for signatures and locations etc. I'm sure the odd thing will pop up here and there, but hey we all make mistakes. This isn't a case of being a killjoy it's just trying to keep the forum friendly for everyone.
As far as the banning and re-instating of people over the last week or so, mistakes may have been made but once again, we're all human. The guys who are helping me to moderate the forums are doing just that. Helping me and helping the site. We have spoken about the actions taken and from now on decissions will be discussed and decided by more than one person. Hopefully that should make things better for all. All i would ask is that you bare with us untill we get some kind of system going, this is a VERY busy forum, and we're all trying our best.
Last point i think, when infractions or warnings have been given, some of them seem to have appeared on the forum. Note the name of a PM/ PRIVATE message. A private message is private, some of you may chose to post each others messages on the board. Anyone posting private messages without the senders consent will be banned, no questions! This is a decission made by me, and anyone thinking it's crap, PM me and tell me why. Other forums have the same rules i'm sure you all know so it shouldn't be that difficult to adhere to.
OK i think thats rant over. I'm pretty sure we can all get along fine with a little thought, whatever our opinions are. Other than that guys, keep up the good work and keep enjoying yourselves. And just remember this is a forum and not a matter of life or death.
Cheers everyone,
Accywingy
Reckon It'd be an idea to stick something to that effect in the intro section......no quibbles then
Are you trying to make me do some work or summit?
Well you need SOMETHING to do while your.....'working'
I was thinking about taking a drive down to the local kebab house while I 'think' about it.
