Help! 3.9 efi not starting

Update, I changed my loom and ecu today and the old girl fired into life, albeit a bit rough as the timming is way out after I changed the dizzy so need to get that sorted. Still I got there in the end. I've now got a load of spare parts, lol.

At last it's all sorted. and she runs as sweet as a nut, All it turned out to be in the end was the efi loom. Just got to finish tidying up the wiiring and putting the inside back together and she'll be back on the road.
 
after finally putting it all back together and sorting out the teething problems i took the whole family the misses and 4 nagging teenagers lol and with boat in tow with all camping gear chucked in took it up to brecon. The old girl flew along pulling a more than capable 75 on the motorway probably more if wanted, and not a problem up the welsh hills. So my conclusion is if your thinking of doing a v8 conversion then I would definately go for an auto box as well especially if you intend to tow. yes it's firsty but it does put a smile on your face.

But I haven't got an ecu fault or any other fault. The fault I did have turned out to be a broken earth within the loom which I replaced for a new loom. Which I doubt a fault reader would have picked that up anyway. Not even my fluke picked it up and was showing correct readings on all tests.
 
thing is I did take apart, clean test and reasemble all the earth points within the loom, or at least all the ones I could find. i even went as far as doing all the earths within the entire engine bay and even the main battery to chassis earth. But as I know only to well in my job is that you can't always rely on test equipment to find a break deep within a cable run or loom and that the only cure sometimes is to replace that cable if suspect. Anyway the fact still remains that after following the good advice given on here and to no avail the next step was to replace the loom which fixed the problem. Job done.
As I said before the old girl is running sweet as a nut now and puts a big grin on my face every time I start her up and take it for a spin. :D
