i've never owned a land rover before but just got hold of a series 3 109 with a v8 fitted,problem is it's been sat for 7 years.i tried to pull it out of its resting place and it won't move,i reckon the brakes are siezed,any ideas?

Get underneath and give the handbrake drum a good clout with an hammer. If that doesn't work then go round and tap the drums on the axles. but usually it's the handbrake that's stuck

Yes, as said, big bangs on brake drums should free 'em off. Welcome to the funny farm.
