Just saying hello to everybody,
Live in Huddersfield,
Never had a Land Rover before.
Do a lot of shooting (clays and game and pest control ( wood pigeons ) ) at weekends so need something that can handle the terrain.
Going to look at a Defender 90 at the weekend.
Got about three and a half K to spend
I am a digital printer during the week.
Thats about it,
looking forward to meeting everybody.

Hi Hatstand,:welcome2: to the forum, taking the **** is a prerequisite on here,so ask your questions a hopefully someone will be able to give you the answers.thats after the **** taking that is.:D:D:p;)

I'm not quite a transformer,
Here's what comes out of the printer.
With all the thefts of LR's at the moment I may have to position some of these round my house when I get one.

does one exist ?

i ave been told there are one or 2, yet to meet one that doesnt either act or look like a prick yet so i am skeptical

they shoulda tohught of that and dressed a non copper in the uniform for the shoot! best of both worlds

or does putting the uniform on transform you into a tit? praps thats the issue:rolleyes:

Thanks for the welcome chaps,
I think he was a real policeman hence the upset look about him.
It's much better when I'm printing Kylie Minogue,
although at life size she is very small,
Late at night at work it's like being surrounded by the Krankies.

welcome mate,

Wats the spec on the landy you are looking at? I take it its private sale. I'm sure in lro this month there is a guide on bargain defenders.

Hi Beverage,
I'm off to look at a 90 1985 with a 200tdi conversion soft top.
Supposed to be tidy.( whatever that means )
I'll get the magazine and have a look , might save me some money.
A bit concerned about a soft top for security but after years of owning high performance highly nickable cars it's amazing how much of a light sleeper you become especially with the windows open in all weathers.
20 years and i've chased and caught three lots of scrotums trying to steal my cars.
The secret is to chase them in your underpants,
so when you catch them and they start fighting the sight of your bollox hanging out mid fight puts them off just enough to get the upper hand.
Thatcham catergory one Y fronts I call them.

legendary mate. I lost mine because I didn't drink drive the 300m from my pub to my house. Serious moral dilema lol.

Well to be honest i see wat you are saying about the soft top but remember in a hard top they onlu have to pull the rubber out of the rear 3/4 window pop it out and reach in and open the door. Thats applies to truck cabs and van bodies. Get a good alarm or tracker mate.

Scrutineer that 200 conversion as well mate, make sure its been done properly and u have the engine mileage right.
