Morning,

I've recently replaced a 2003 TD5 Disco with a 1972 Series 3 88 soft top, diesel!

No stranger to series Land Rovers, previously owned a 1973 petrol and a 1950 80" when I was 16 - sold it for £350!! Also have owned 2 90s.

This one seems to be reasonably up together, apart from some badly bodged electrics. The fuse box has been moved from the steering column to inside the bottom part of the dash!!! I've had to tape it up because some times it looks like it had been shorting out, it's just hanging there!

Thanks all.

I took it out at lunchtime - the indicators and brake lights stopped working! And the wipers only work if I help them across the screen - a low voltage is to blame I think! And the blower doesn't work!

I might take the bottom half of the dash off so I can get a better look at the wiring. But it might be too cold, so I might not!
