Hi there, been registered on here a while as I used to have a discovery but didn't have it long, I now have a 93 defender 110 200 tdi and this one is for keeps, I'm ex forces and always wanted another, bit of a rolling restoration for me but in the last month it's had four new general grabber tyres, radiator, full engine out every gasket changed, every fluid changed, new belts and timing gear, battery, clutch with ball and fork and a bit of rewiring, new suspension with a slight lift, all new bushes and drop links, new brakes up front and the list goes on, next up is replacing the doors and a full respray.
No security at the min so just looking into that as I know how easy these go missing, just trying to find a company that will fit what I want.

Hello mate, sounds like you've been busy already, sadly the work will never end , but that's half the fun.

Join landywatch as there is some good advice and discounts on security stuff.
 
Might have to start our own 'Donny' group at this rate .. ;)

Lol, not what I was thinking of .. but .. now you mention it ... ;)

No, I meant like 'Herts laners' say, have a Donny laners ... having said that, we have five lanes .. makes about 2 miles of legal Byway laning, in Doncaster area.

And three of them you have to either turn round and come back, or reverse back out!

They didn't bother building any, cause there was nowhere worth going to :p:p:p

Not a whole heap better in Glos though I've just about managed to work out a day's entertainment, nearly all Orpas
 
Isn't there some kind of off road course just off junction 4 m18? Just outside armthorpe, never looked but someone told me there was, apart from that there's nowhere really worth going around here.
I do see a fair few defenders and early discos around this area though that look like they have seen some action so unless they are stolen I don't know where they go.
Best get my outriggers replaced and the welding sorted before I venture off-road mind haha
 
Nope, that's a Motocross race track, no 4x4's allowed.

We travel ... ;)
