Hi
Recently got back into owning probably my most loved form of transport after an extended time away due to work etc. So i bought this little 90 to keep myself busy. Get alot of satisfaction tinkering with them in my spare time. Ill be honest this one "Louise" is basically my weekend fun and i can often be found driving around the scottish borders at a somewhat gentle speed whilst keeping all bugs away with her built in smoke screen feature being an original 19j 🤣. Cheers. Scott

Hi
So the old girl has been doing good. Mostly. Fitted a full set of mudguards as they done look right without them. Due for her Mot end of january with a few things to sort. Power steering box getting sent of for rebuild as its very leeky. 1 tub crossmemeber rotten but got a full set which ill replace. Otherwise trackrod ends and a rear brake cylinder is all i can see. Chassis is solid being galvinised original as is the bulkhead, doors and seatbox.I will be putting new tyres on her as their very old and still have tubes. Engine wise still smokes on downhill off throttle but pulls very well so after speaking with Rupert in walkerburn he thinks hard stem valve oil seals. have a big dog crate in the back for my tiny jack russel and the other halfs greyhound.

I had one of those and they do "puff" a bit don't they? Happy days. :D

Puff or deliberate factory spec smoke screen. The super fast cars on my outings happily stay behind at a distance i hope through respect its the bloody have to get there yesterday tribe that dont like my old girl filling their lungs with the good stuff. Im more worried the mot now includes a smoke test or im or Louise is in trouble. On
on the downhill or overrun get her warm can rev her no probs no smoke right into the mot inspection bay. Even thats changed i could easily find a good honest bit understanding tester that would take a bribe for cash. Country is going to waste.
