300Km round trip to La Rochelle today in foul weather, high winds and heavy showers. I think the FIP must have another leak or it has Kermititus, I have never had such low mpg, I thought that it was because I was pushing a 70/90kmh wind that I only got 22mpg on the out run, but even with the wind behind us on the return it only got up to 23.2mpg. I would normally expect at least 28mpg with a following wind:(. Apart from that it performed well and the aircon now works after my rechrge from a can. :)

Never underestimate the drag a wet road and rain apply to a vehicle.
My old ampera used to show power consumption. At 80mph on cruise on perfectly flat dry motorway it used around 20-25 KW. On the same stretch in heavy rain, it was more like 30-35 KW
Just think how much even a relatively shallow puddle retards progress when you hit it.
I wouldn't worry too much until you've tried it in the dry.

I have had the car for 13 years, the only time I have seen the fuel consumption that low on a run is in the UK traffic jams.

Maybe i'm forgetting, but i don't think you need the engine on to be able to do the basic testing with the nano... ignition for sure
Ignition needs to be on, yes, you're right. But I think it did care whether the engine is running or not but maybe that's just so you can't turn heated screen on etc

Got some live data I’ve it means anything to you Kermit just a load of digits to me
