Heated front screen retrofit done!

Hi rizzlekicks, I have a 2006 FL1. To check if you have the switch loom remove the top left blanking plate from the top left of the centre console, if there is a multi plug behind it you have the switch loom in place. The plug is under the bonnet to the right of the fuse box, it is grey with a thin white wire and thin purple wire, mine was tucked under the rubber pipe as shown in my first picture.

You will need the switch, I got mine off ebay and also the under bonnet loom, I got mine from a breakers. And of course a heated screen! Installation of the loom takes around 30 minutes and is very straightforward.
