Headlight problem on High beam

Need to sort my lights out for the MOT.

Low beam and side lights are fine.
Main beam when selected is fine.
High beam when selected

Drivers side headlamp goes off completely.
Passenger side behaves as expected.

New bulbs being used etc.

Bad earth? Any suggestions how to go about trouble shooting this?

I had this problem but in reverse. High beam worked fine but driver side Main didn't work. Turned out it was a fuse, last thing I checked too after stripping down the wing to check all wiring and earths.

Check yer earths and connections.... nae need tae take the wing off either

If ye stick yer heid in the drivers side wing, ye'll see a clump o' wires and connectors. The black wires are yer earths. There 's probably a black wire that's screwed tae the inner wing. Clean all yer connectors and see what happens
