Hi
Well MOT passed for another year however I was allowed to inspect the underside of my vehicle whilst on ramps. My slow oil leak appears to be from the heads which would also possibly explain my coolant loss. I'm looking for quality OE spec gasket kit or gaskets and have two options.
Option 1 is Payen head gaskets and source the other gaskets and bolts seperately
Option 2 is a bg automotive OE gasket set including bolts.

Does anyone have any experience with either and what are their views on the quality of these gaskets.

I'm hoping not to revisit this job once done however the cynic in meis expecting to find myself ordering a turner block once the heads are off.

Your views will be appreciated.

Payen gaskets purchased thankyou. One more question. When I strip the heads I have a sneaking suspicion I may end up speaking to turners for a new block and will probably change / recondition the old radiator.
What brand of radiator would you recommend?

A new block sounds serious, why do you think you need it?
Unless procedures have changed considerably for the better, I wouldn't touch a recon radiator. A new OE radiator might be expensive, but they will last and give you one thing less to worry about.
