Disco 1 Head Gasket replacement

Hi Guys, just wondering if there is a guide for HG replacement on a 300tdi, ive ordered the below parts, i understand the timing belt doesn't need to be touched? Any advice welcomed?

· Water Pump – PEB500090 Bearmach £21.19

· Power Steering Pump – ANR2157 Britpart £54.98

· Gasket Kit – STC2802 – Bearmach £16.51

· Bolt set – DA2005 – OEM £25.37

· Head Gasket – LVB500210 (2-Hole) Bearmach - £18.76

· Anti Freeze (Morley? £20)

· Fan Belt – ERR3287 – Bearmach £6.41

The Haynes manual shows what's involved in the removal and refitting of a Tdi head with text and pictures.

Go on youtube and do a search. I have recently replaced mine , easy to do with the help vids and tutorials.

personally i prefer the composite gaskets on tdis err5262 for 2 hole,if you get head skimmed check valve stand down before buying head gasket, you can manage without an angle gauge as 60 degrees is 1 flat and the final 20 degrees a 1/3

Ive swapped the PAS pump on our 300tdi, but never the head gasket - im struggling to see why you need to swap the PAS pump to do the gasket??
