A "gaylander " coming from a prick who wanted to get a bit more off road than yyour bmi thingy ,and ouve even got a photo of a girly jeep . go fugk yerself with yer feukkin polls .
What is your problem? I call it a gaylander in threads like this because if I call it anything else, people may think I'm taking the car too seriously as a 4x4 and may assume I'm putting it in the same league as a Defender, when obviously it isn't. (Especially in the context of this thread!) Clearly, I do like and respect my Freelander overall, else I wouldn't have it! So if you think I'm trying to mock the Freelander, think again. What do you think people would say if I didn't use the light-hearted term "Gaylander?" Probably something like "What do you plan to rescue in your Gaylander?!! LOLOL." We've all heard these jokes all too often, and they can quickly result in a thread going off topic. By starting with a mild light-hearted joke, I will be closing the door for any further jokes of a similar sort. My use of the term was based on that logic alone. Besides, saying "Gaylander" is no worse than you calling it a heap.. (referring to your sig)
And what does the fact that I used to have a BMW have to do with anything? I fail to see how it's of any relevance here. Don't tell me you're a prejudice who really believes in these silly "BMW driver" stereotypes. I bought that car for the simple reason that they're said to be reliable, and because of the fact that the cabin was extremely quiet inside. Given that I'm 50% deaf, that mattered to me a lot. So please, don't even think about using any "BMW driver" stereotypes (as seen previously on this forum) because I think you will find that we don't all fit into that category...
As for my sig, I can put whatever I like in there providing it's not violating the forum rules. I have an interest in both Land Rovers and Jeeps and on this occasion, I thought the message was nice as it can apply to all 4x4 owners, not just Jeeps! Sure, many here are Land Rover fanatics and wouldn't even consider owning a different make of vehicle. However, not everyone is that way inclined and that should be respected.
And you're calling me the prick here? Perhaps you should go and take a look in the mirror matey because I think you will find that the prick will be staring at you right back in the face. Perhaps next time, you may want to form some kind of basis before you start throwing around unnecessary insults.
Have a nice evening.
