When 1 person disagrees with another its clear to see that one person is wrong but when 1 person disagrees with a dozen others surely its obvious who the arsehole is?

Now I disagree with you there.

Sometimes the 1 is right and the many wrong - so you have to wait for the 1 to either prove themselves or show themselves as the arsehole.

For the same reason - you don't want o be walking down a path, or sitting enjoying the view and to be inundated with 30 bobble hats stomping past.

OK not so much an issue as 30 cars, but the same principle.

And yes, you do get complaints about the large groups. I spend a lot of my time defending the walkers against the locals and their "always dropping litter, walking off the paths, they're a menace" attitude.

I've seen it from all sides.

Where I do agree with you is fighting for our rights. Many a time I've gone up a footpath to find it blocked by an electric fence and the style removed.

The world's gone mad. Since when did 30 people out on a walk in the open be offensive to anyone? Same with 12 or whatever Land Rovers driving responsibly on a legal road? When did we become a nation of furious writers to the editor of the Daily Mail? People have too many rights and not enough responsibility or common sense. Come on people. This isn't respect for anyone, it's just narkiness and selfishness.
