Hands free kit control unit location

Hello there , i've got a freelander commercial on a 52 plate and im going to install a new alarm and hands free kit. Where is the best place to locate the control units.

welome aboard matey...
I put the hands free unit in mine under the lhs of the consoul tucked in there neat mounted phone mount on lhs of heater controls tidy

just fitted my hands free kit, control unit mounted in recess under air bag, just over passenger side cd rack, bolted through using 1 m4 bolt from cd rack. can't see bugger all of it, just the cradle & mic speaker in passenger footwell
