big thanks to daft for a top day out :clap2:
another top lz day out with some nice peeps just finished washing the mud off :)
now where did i put that spare exhaust and the t-cut :D
big respect to mr g g g g freelander again despite the **** taking he nearly had to tow out a disco
pics to follow ;)

Just wanted to thank Daft and Redwings for putting together a great set of lanes and DV for putting up with me as passenger as my motor is still broken.

A super day and so nice to just tag along and enjoy the ride for a change.

AND the chippies were good anorl!

Nice to meet some new faces and reaquaint myself with others - some real nice folks today and I had a bloody good laugh. :)

Yet again (and it pains me to say it) a Freelander has amazed me with it's offroad ability, especially when a tricked up Disco slides off into a ditch and an extreme 90 nearly rolled over - I'll mention no names. :p

Yes, the '**** Up Fairy' rested on several shoulders today but finally came to roost on DV who ran true to form and broke something as per usual when he broke a window!

Piccies are on DVs camera so you'll have to wait for him to upload them.

Hmmm, Boomer's feeling all motivated again - perhaps there should be an all new stonking trip down my neck of the woods again? ;)

Crackin day thanks to all concerned ,
Would have been in deep **** if i was on me own.
Think i need a new section (DRIFTING):hysterically_laughi
Glad to see there in no photographic evidence so i can still deny everything.

is this the kind of evidence you meant stick :hysterically_laughi fair play for keeping your cool when it could of gone very wrong ;)

Big "thank you" to MHM and everyone for a brilliant day out laning. Had great fun and it was good to put faces to names.

Special thanks also to everyone who helped with the "pit stop" wheel change after I knackered my tyre. Just need to persuade the Treasurer that I really need to replace it with some stronger MTs :)

I've collected some pics and video which I'll bash into shape over the next couple of days all being well.

It was especially satisfying to see that the Hippo seemed to come through unscathed - oh apart from the tyre and ... the CD changer button coming off the radio :D Things might be worse when I clean off the underside, especially after the bangs and crashes experienced on the aptly named "boneshaker" lane - but fingers crossed.

Great day out folks, look forward to next time.

Snifflebag - i think it was a case of "boy done good" with your hippo. Hat off to ya. But one has to comment on the disco owners being careful of loosing body panels ( and windows) and yu loose a cd changer button :D.

A brill day out and credit to Ami and co at the Poachers for putting on a nice spread and Redwing for leading the difficult bits which I wimped out of and showing me some extra lanes.

We will have to recce some more sometime.
