if it will still be light enough i could help out with the recce after work should be able to get to you for around 5.15 ish if that's any elp? tried me swr meter getting 1.5 is that good enough?

no probs i wouldn't stand in the way of a pub crawl ;) whats the rules on recovery points? i've got a pair of jates on the rear but what with the steering guard ont' front i cant get owt on there other than the original towing eye, i'm gonna see if i can weld something to guard but doesn't look too hopeful

no rules - no points - no recovery ;).

I only have the standard towing eyes ont front and a tow bal on the rear.

No-one needed towing last weekend.

Depending on number of difficult lanes, my intention is to do easy lanes until lunch time, then do a couple of difficult lanes in which those who dont want to do them, can act as fotogrificators or,maybe, passengers? and then some more lanes on the way North.
The number of lanes in the afternoon depends on how many difficult ones Redwing can find, any damage and time.

pub lunch sounds good :)
can we pre-order the chippies :D i think i mis under stood when you asked who had winches and the risk of damage and assumed it would be a bit tricky  i've given up trying to fit another recovery point now anyway, got a blowing fannymould gasket to fix

It is tricky - risk of body damage is quite likely (dented panels and doors - broken mirrors etc) but not a definate winch jobby.

a potato wedgie... sounds delightful :D
would inviting bob and his chainsaw help
maybe i should of left the old panels on fer a while then :)
it'll make a change for me to dent it instead of the local hoodie scrotes
