guess what i found in my fuel tank!!??

,well after having my old 2 1/4 and my 200DI in my series 3 and it always coughed and spluttered at random times i finally decided to drain and clean the fuel tank and well cleaning it out obvously a load of gunge was found but it must of been sat for a while at its last owners house because i removed a body of a mouse that was flooting about in the tank and had been sometimes getting stuck on the end of the pickup pipe i was amazed by this find and that it was still in one peace and preserved in diesel, i mean it must of got in there when the vehicle was once in bits??

i just wondered if anyone else had anything like this happen??

no idea how it got in there but it might improve the performance of the engine now its been removed??!!
 
alas i feel ther previous owner was sold snake oil... similar to those who put magnets on the fuel lines ('cus it improves fuel efficency') it seems this owner was lulled into the belief that adding a mouse to the fuel tank will increase both mpg and power of the engine. (the rich oils secrete out of the mouses lathered skin enhancing the fuel and giving a richer burning temperature... don't you know)
