She's ready for her stay at the garage in the morning!! Going to be fun (dangerous and bumpy) using clutch again...nothing seemed to have siezed and she started straight away...however passenger door doesn't open. Even kicking didn't work. Think the rusty doors have given up.
Just learnt how to post a pic since the forum changed (slow.) so here's a pic of the best looking redhead in town!

Awesome, looks great. Better give mine a clean for the 19th :/

My disco will sadly be up for sale soon as it's my daily drive and just cant keep up with the maintenance or the rust :(
I picked up a Audi A4 estate this morning so will be swapping the insurance over soon.
I'll still be about on the forum, but not joining you good foke in the mud.

Is there anything that can be done to try and object this from happening.

This one is interesting to, where I have moved to there are lots of Bridleways which only allow authorised vehicles, odd place to put a public car park half way along it then, as well as loads of people houses that they have to drive to and from

CAN ALL MY 4X4 FRIENDS SHARE THIS POST TO ANY 4X4 GROUP THEY ARE A MEMBER OF, AND I AM NOT, PLEASE!

Greetings from Hampshire's GLASS rep!
I was contacted today by a member of Hampshire's Land Access Forum, they have been informed by Hampshire County Council of an issue with Snailing Lane, Hawkley BOAT 25.
It’s been TRO’d since May this year and HCC are getting quotes for the repairs, but they’re having problems with 4x4s getting onto the lane and compounding the damage, making the quotes to repair more expensive each time. I have been told they have had to replace the gates three times now!

If this continues the council are likely to abandon any plans to repair the lane and close it permanently instead, replacing the gates with something more solid that can't be bypassed.
Damaging the gates amounts to at least vandalism and possibly criminal damage.
Please can all responsible Green lane users local to this lane keep an eye on it, and spread the word that this lane is to be left alone for the foreseeable future!

Hahaa well fairly standard..
running about 180 Bhp & 460Nm torque safely not too sure excact figures, 2.4 tdci just with a upgraded intercooler & remap to suit!! Got it looking to how I'd like now, was just a farm truck with a cannopy on when I got it back in November I've just tarted it up a fair bit!

Thought I’d pop by see what this old forum has been up to!!
If anyone still remembers each other!!
Saw an old v8 110 for sale and remembered Lockys one from on here! It looked very similar.
I’ve had several landys since last appearing March 2017!!
Sold the Puma defender 90, which I really regret.
Bought a Discovery 4. That I absolutely love.
Got a defender 90 again as an off-road toy/ project. Sold that.
Then bought a defender 90 challenge truck.
Spent a lot of money rebuilding it.
Then sold that.
So currently just have my Disco 4 that I don’t do any greenlaning etc, just a fair bit of towing with. Absolute dream to drive, can’t think of anything else to replace it with!
Still in Hampshire, more greenlanes seem to be closing every year which is a shame.
Hope everyone is well and staying safe.
Cheers for a another few years
