Yupp! Who's gana lead with the route planned etc? More importantly who's going lol. Might be worth sending a few PM's to sort out a plan ;)

That doesn't matter mate, I don't have a winch but can get most places!
Without a cb will just have to go in front of somone with one so don't loose ya on the road lol

Although I was planning in getting a cb anyway, I live near that shop in dorking. Might have to bump it up the list - am off Friday :D
 
Maplins sell them if it helps? Don't know if they do Ariel's for them though, might be better of the interweb get a good price. Yes very easy, just a positive and negative, I've got mine wired to the batty but another easy way is just wire it to a fag socket plug. And plug in an ariel Simples ;)

Going up the cb shop in dorking tomorrow, spoke to the guy today. Mentioned swr thingy and he said he will show me. Going to get a mag mount and try it on my army aerial mount on the side, or on the front bumper maybe.

Only query with the side of the tub military mount is whether is has enough 'ground' :confused:

Will have to watch that dislocation cone see if it's going to be a problem or not. Might shift it to the axle..
