Just took a look at your videos. Seems like your volvo is more capable than you night at first think! Oh and you son's bigger than my son! Mine's only 8

kin ell that volvo can munch the mud!
but whats it like on the rocks?
try monsal head or stanage edge in derbyshire that'll test it to the limits

It's a pretty good machine, plenty of traction even with road tyres - mainly due to the center and rear diff locks (automatic locks).

As I said before, it's only fault is ground clearance - and so it's rather prone to being hit by something. We just take it slow, and power out.

OK slight change of plan. Did Jai's favourite lane this evening, got through on road tyres! Must be much easier this time Jai. Got stuck once but managed to drive out, I must be learning quicker!

Spyderman's Landy is still havin gproblems and the priority is sorting that out on the morrow, but we're hoping to be out Sunday instead. Looking at Santa Pod, Grafham Water area.

If you'd like to join us then you have my phone number, I pm'd it to you yesterday.

It seems that the message isn't in my inbox for some reason. If you could PM me it again that would be great.

Anyone out tomorrow in the Beds/Herts/Area?

Spyderman's out of action and it would be great to hook up with another motor for a few lanes

I see nickh recommends trying Stanage edge for rocky stuff. Did that back in the 70's in a Bedford 15 cwt Van! Not exactly breaking new ground here are we?
