Green laning in wales and where to go?

Hi guys,

In mid September I am going to wales for a weekend with a friend in a l200 for a green laning holiday type thing.

What I'm after is where abouts is a good place to go with plenty of lanes? I'm not looking at mega hardcore stuff but something that will be fun and a good challenge?

Were going from the 5th-9th of sept so it's a while away yet but if anyone would want to join up for a day to head out I am happy to do that!

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you in Sevenoaks, Kent?, if so I'd imagine you'd be looking at South Wales, done the welsh marches and Herefordshire lanes two weeks ago, was really good despite a few miserable walkers frowning with arms crossed at us ( were on legal byway status checked, 2 discovers driving sensibly no other trucks )

Few camp sites about too it's a long old drive!

Yeh in Sevenoaks, & cool what were the lanes like there? Plenty of challenging sections? I don't want mega hard stuff but a good challenge I am up for.

Was bloody challenging trying to get a lifted disco 2 with a roof tent through the lanes alive! But really good with plenty of fords, some of the lanes were a little challenging and needed a bit of work with the shovel and spade to repair bits here and there.

All in all I'd go again, if you want to do real good lanes then strata Florida is said to be excellent, quite far though

Ok that's brilliant thanks for letting me know. What towns were near where you went to? Just trying to get a location as I've never been to wales before.

Ooo I'll have to find that one out for you as I met the other driver at Magor services and followed him on convoy for 70 miles not knowing where I was!

Was defiantly Hereford welsh marches

might have a look on google

Haha nice I'll have a look on the os map around there then. If anyone wants to meet us up there for the day that would also be good, the more trucks the better
