green lanes in the lakes? my old route is boring

Hi people, i usualy go to coniston in the lake district and do the "old man" in the rangie, the road is called scar fell road and it pritty good, a nice day driving over the mountin (hills) back to the village for dinner and camping etc... but after 10 years of doing it its gettin a tad boring now.
Im woundering if any1 nos any green lanes or off roadin in the lake district, im very desprate to explore some new places and have heard from photos on ere that theres a few good uns, id be really gratefull if any1 can help me or even pm me with some routes. All or ANY help would be grately appreciated.:D;)
 
Hi mike, I've not long done a green lane trip with the lads from north yorkshire lanes, might be worth flicking through some of the posts on there, as we did peak distrct a couple of weeks ago ( stanage edge ) was a little apprehensive in me P38 as many have not recommended in this vehicle. Have to say though the Rangie kept up with both defenders & discos on the trek. The were doing a few more around Yorkshire & back in peaks soon mate as I'm looking at going again with them,

Brilliant thanks for that, shame i missed that 1. yehh ive heard people say that p38s arnt that goo but i can honestly say its never let me down off roadin. id say possibly better that the discos and 90's but we all think our pride and joy is better than the next mans lol:D

lol thats only becouse we waited 4 u tim ha ha ha only joking mate see u in the peaks:crazy_driver:
 
I will be doing a lakes run in a few weeks, pm me your number and I will let you know.

I do not give anyone a copy of the routes, but it you have a map or gps and copy it on the day that's fine
