LOL a great insight to technology and a week on the road review - (placebo - pure lies?) where is the rolling road maps? lol surely that would be good cheep hard proof that it does something - flatten the torque curve increase in BHP whatever lol
as Nodge said there is a bit more to it than that. The software on the ECU would need changed - or you can bluff inputs neither of which this device could do. As an aside it is illegal to change your ecu configuration while driving.
In our day it was magnets on the fuel line remember that one?

"the concept would be the same and they seem to know what they are doing over there so I would say you will see improvement." lol good solid factual info there a bit like a Trump speech.....

These things are snake oil. Just a box of lights to fool you into thinking its doing something, but they're not.

There's no way that little box can know and modify every engine ECU on every vehicle on the road. So it's a scam. ;)
I understand... Thanks man!

Is there anything you can do in any circumstances through the OBD port while the car is running that would affect how the engine runs? If you want to change the engine map/response on the fly, surely this can't be done thru diagnostics?

Some engine ECUs can be reprogrammed through the OBD2 port, but it takes special equipment running a particular routine, and can't be done on the fly.

Very nice approach!
I didn't know that is illegal...
I suppose that, as you wrote, is something like the magic magnets.
So, let it be

I think that, if you want really change your car's performance, you must spend more money than 100 pounds, by reprogramming the ECU or, buy a new car
