So yesterday my Range l332 3.6tdv8 decided to cut out, a quick turn of the key and away she went again. But it is still happening... I have been advised that it might be the right turbo... This is the image from the reading. Please advise...

The whistle could well be a split pipe they only normally show under pressure, get someone to rev it while you look.

Ok, I will investigate and report back. Many thanks... Do you know if there is a Haines for this year range? I'm struggling to locate one.

RAVE wont cover his model year, only resource would be Land Rover TOPiX or maybe a Bently manual....but not sure if they did one.

I have somewhere a 2010 workshop manual but not sure which hard drive it is on and anyway I am on holiday away from home.

Oh well, that'll teach me to try to be helpful :(

Many thanks for your help, I am going to have a good look at it this week, it is still happening but is extremely random. I will keep you all posted.

It turned out to be simply a split turbo hose and a dodgy air flow sensor. Quick fix and all sorted...
